BritBox and Apple TV

What Apple TV do you have exactly?

The BritBox App requires a 4th Generation or 4K Apple TV with access to the App Store.

If you have one of these models, look for the BritBox App in the App Store on the Apple TV.

If you have an earlier model the BritBox app is not available.

That would be entirely up to Britbox, wether they want they want to add a channel(no apps for loser Apple TVs) to the 3rd gen Apple TV. As evidenced by Amazon’s Prime Video coming to it in December, it’s still possible, but Britbox would need to want to do so.

Older Apple TVs than that are very unlikely to get the channel at this point.

The older models don’t run apps, just preset content sent via server. The 3rd Gen is discontinued and would unlikely get it added, while the 2nd is considered obsolete
