I am trying to upload the MaxGo app (for Apple) onto my iPad, such taht I can upload it to the Samsung SmartTV. I have tried to upload directly to the SmartTV apps bar, but that does not seem to have possibility. Also, I have AppleTV, so I am eager to try that approach, but I do not know how to get the app there. Any ideas?

i'm not sure what maxgo app is but the appletv bypass anything smart about your tv it takeover and use the tv as a screen and a screen only to do anything with the smart part of your tv would likely require some samsung app on the ipad

MaxGo app allows you to view Cinemax TV shows and streams on your device. We have it for the iPad, but we also want to use it on the SmartTV. I cannot really follow your posting well, but I think you are suggesting the AppleTV does whatever it does regardless of and independent of the SmartTV capabilities, right? At present, we cannot add the MaxGO app to the AppleTV selections, and the SmartTV does not recognize the MaxGO app so as to permit us to add it to the SmartTV app selections. We downloaded the MaxGO app (for iOS) to the iPad and planned to add the SmartTV device for playback too, but it did not allow that as most apps do. What am I missing and what should I try to attain the MaxGO capability with the SmartTV?
