Damage on Metal case

Hi guys,

My phone slipped off my hand n dropped it on floor. There is no damage on screen, software has no problem, either. But there is a small damage on the left upper edge of metal case. I still have guarantee. If i send it to service to change the case and battery, how much possibly do they charge? do they change the damaged parts?

Thanks in advance

The iPhone does not have a guarantee, it has a warranty against defects in manufacturing and/or workmanship. User damage, such as yours is not covered under warranty. If the damage does not impact the way the phone operates, then I would leave it, since it is just cosmetic. User damage would require you to pay for replacement, and you can find out what the out of warranty replacement cost is by going here and locating the version of iPhone that you have. iPhone Repair - Official Apple Support See the section under Other iPhone Repairs.

Accidental damage isn't covered under the warranty. In some countries there's a standard "repair" fee that really means they offer a complete replacement with a new or refurbished unit designated solely as a replacement part. In some countries this fee is published, while in others you would need to find out.

You're in Turkey?

Another issue is that if it's gray marketed, Apple doesn't typically service iPhones except in the country where they were initially purchased.
