.ink File Help

So i was saving photos from my old Windows Vista computer to my MacBook Air and came across a really old video under the name 'iphone042' and saved it to my USB. Safely ejected my USB and inserted into my mac, the file is now named 'iphone042.ink' and will not be able to open on Mac but can on the Windows. Any help on how i can open it?Any help will be appreciated! 🙂

What you copied on the USB stick is not a file but the link that Windwos created on the file so you can't open on the mac.

You need to make sure to have the original file on Windows and the transfer this on the mac.

It is a .lnk file not a .ink file and it is a link to a file not the file itself. Copy the file again this time copying the actual file not a link to the file.
