Bad Music Recommendations

Apple Music is recommending Genres, Artists, Albums and Playlists which are not related to the music I am actually listening to. IS anyone else finding this?

I follow the Dance & Electronic genres and artists, but Apple Music keeps recommending Hip-Hop, R&B and Grime music. I'm not a fan of these genres and don't choose to listen to them.

I always 'love' tracks and albums I really enjoy to improve the recommendations. I have also reset and updated my 'Choose artists to follow' options (sometimes on a daily basis) but nothing seems to work. No one else uses or has used my account for Apple Music.

I've contacted Apple Support, who haven't resolved the problem (even with escalation to the engineering team) so they just gave me 5 iTunes Credits. Ironically, that hasn't solved the problem!

This is not device specific, the experience is the same on iOS, MacOS and tvOS.

Does anyone have any advise, or have been finding that the Apple Music recommendations algorithm is very poor compared to the main music streaming competitor?
