Hi
The recipient receives the money as a credit to their Apple Pay Cash Card balance.
Instructions for receiving payments are detailed here:
Send, receive, and request money with Apple Pay - Apple Support
Keep in mind that fees apply when sending money using a credit card.
Fees can apply for senders, but only under certain circumstances. There are no fees for the sender except when:
As the sender, you use a credit card to fund an Apple Pay Cash transfer.
You use an Apple Pay Cash Card to make a purchase with a merchant who is located outside of the US.
Note that your card issuer may also apply a separate fee (this might be described, for example, as a cash advance fee) when sending payments via Apple Pay Cash using a credit card.
If you plan to use a credit card in conjunction with Apple Pay Cash, then contact your card issuer for details of any applicable charges.
