iPad's Full Screen Clock - So, it's Gone.

Up to this point, I think it might be safe to assume that, the full-screen clock on the iPad's Time app is not coming back. (image from appstorm.net)

Mounring aside, does anyone know why Apple cancelled this (not that any other iOS changes are less enigmatic), and will there be any plans of this feature coming back to life?

Meanwhile, you might take a look at some of the hundreds of clock apps available in the app store (many free, most cheap) and see if one meets your needs.
