Does the Apple Watch series 1 have wheelchair mode ?

Yes, it does.


If you have not configured your Apple Watch accordingly when setting up the Activity app, then to change the setting:


  • On your iPhone, in the Watch app, to go: My Watch > Health.
  • If the setting for Wheelchair currently states "Not Set" or "No", then tap on Edit (upper-right) > tap on "Not Set" and change it to "Yes" (options are shown in the bottom area of the screen) > tap on Done (upper-right).
