Pop ups on IPhone
When I out on Safari playing words with friends.... I get a pop up for Amazon.com membership rewards.... how do I stop this!!!??? Please help! I have cleared my history on safari! Thanks
iPhone 7, iOS 11.2.5
Amazon and Walmart popups?
1. Force close Safari application. https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT201330
2 Clear History Caches and Website Data. https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT201265
3. Settings > Safari > Search
Turn off Search Engine Suggestions,
Safari Suggestions,
Quick Website Search
and
Preload Top Hit.
4. Highlight and delete the entry in the Safari’s search bar.
Press spacebar key on the keyboard twice.
Enter the URL for the site manually and then “Go”.
Test for a while.
Repeat step 4 for all sites that manifest the problem.
After awhile, re-enable those disabled Safari search options.
