Boot Camp Partition unremovable

So I set aside 100 GB for a win10 bootcamp install. iMac rebooted and during install had an error. I now am to the point where the partition does not show up to allow Boot Camp assistant to remove it, nor can I click the minus - symbol in disk utility to add it back to my 1TB fusion drive. Called apple and they had me format the drive but all that did was wipe my information off the 900 GB partition. I still cannot remove the 100 that I set aside for windows.

Any help would be greatly appreciated as the next step would be to have to bring my machine in to Apple.

2017 iMac latest update of high Sierra.

Thanks!

If you used/attached any external storage during Windows installation, it would explain the current partitions on your 1TB HDD part.

After we cleanup, I recommend disconnecting all external storage/hubs and a SMC/NVRAM Reset before you next attempt at installing Windows.

Run

diskutil eraseVolume jhfs+ BC1 disk0s4

diskutil eraseVolume jhfs+ BC2 disk0s5

diskutil eraseVolume jhfs+ BC3 disk0s6

diskutil eraseVolume jhfs+ BC4 disk0s7

diskutil eraseVolume jhfs+ BC5 disk0s8

diskutil mergePartitions jhfs+ BCMP disk0s4 disk0s8

diskutil list

If you only see disk0s4, then run

diskutil eraseVolume fat32 BOOTCAMP disk0s4

and now run BC Assistant and click on Remove/Restore.
