Key Commands

Hi,

Does anyone know where I can print out a list of key commands?

So I can stick it on my wall for example?

Thanks

You can copy the list to the clipboard, and paste it into a text editor (or if you're an anal freak you could stick it into Word or a DTP program and format it how you like).

I can't see the benefit of sticking it on your wall though - I mean, the keycommands window is always available, will always reflect your most up to date key commands, and you can search, filter and scroll to your hearts' content.

Devote a screenset to it - I bet you're only using nine out of the 90+ screensets anyway. 😉

Little poll - who regularly uses screenset numbers above 9? (ie, double digit screensets)

I do.
The screensets 1-9 are reserved for the editing or comping part of a job:
1) big arrange
2) Mixer showing BUSes, Mixer showing AUXes, Inspector XL (inserted on actual main output or BUS leading to main output)ne screenset , Transport showing Large SMPTE display. And long but narrow Arrange showing Markers
3) & 4) are showing windows of dfhs & BFD plugins together with Arrange Markers, Matrix Editor.
5) Long but narrow Arrange window with long but wide Hyper Editor
6) & 7) depend on actual project. Mostly they use only one monitor, the other is showing Yamaha Studio Manager...
8) Enviroment 9) various plugin windows (Inspector XL) inserted on Outputs or Inputs or where I/O Helper plugins are inserted

Than I have second set of a screensets (11-19) which I do use when mixing.
I always put related tracks to folders (actually I have folders already set up in my "Recording" template or "Mixing " template). Usually I end up with 5-6 main Folders in my Arrange and screensets 11-16 are showing the "inside" of each folder, which means: Long Arrange window, Large SMPTE, a few Mixer windows - vairously linked (or not) to show Arrange content or with checked / unchecked option "Follow control surface" . I am sure I am using screensets 17-19 too but I they depend on each Project.
All of my basic sreensets are locked from the beginning (in the template).
Ofcourse I may use more than the basic ones 🙂
