same apple id in two phone, one is lost.

My iphone 6s was lost and now i got iphone 7, should i use same apple id? or there is any other way to block my lost iphone 6s or seperate it from my apple id. i don't want to create another apple id.

iPhone 7, iOS 11.2.5

You can use the same account, and it's generally a good idea to have and use just the one account. You've changed the account's password, and contacted the carrier that you'd lost the old phone ? Did you have Find iPhone enabled on the old phone and tried locating it (or sending a remote wipe message) via Find iPhone app on your new phone or http://www.icloud.com on a computer , or removing it from the account : Check your Apple ID device list to see where you're signed in - Apple Support ?
