Defense Logistics Agency Will Automatically Configure Your iPhone Error

Hi,

I bought a new Iphone 6s yesterday when I start up the device I got this prompt after connecting with cellular hotspot. And later it displays "..configurations could not be downloded, request timed out.." and disabled the next button.

Why i am getting this ?

Is my phone locked..

Please help me on solve this issue, and how to get rid of this "Agency Configuration thing" and configure it manualy like normally people do.

Perhaps this iPhone is new to you, but it certainly does not sound like a brand new iPhone, from a factory-sealed box.

It sounds very much like the iPhone was previously owned. And the previous owner did not thoroughly cleanse the iPhone before you acquired it.

Speak to the seller and have them thoroughly cleanse the iPhone. If they cannot, there is a good chance you will not be able to use the iPhone.

Also, the iPhone cannot be activated without a SIM card.

This iPhone was owned by a government agency. It has a profile on it, which means the agency did not release the iPhone for sale. So until that happens, you will almost certainly not be able to use this phone.

It seems highly likely that you purchased a stolen iPhone.

There is no official Apple website to check IMEI. There is a site to check an iPhone serial number:

Check Your Service and Support Coverage - Apple Support

Here are some other steps to be aware of:

Turn off Find My iPhone Activation Lock - Apple Support

Hi,

Thanks for the reply. I bought this after check the imei(checked in official apple website and it show please activate the phone) and the part-no for originality. what's the relation with 'defense agency policy' and 'cleansing from owner' ?

what does cleaning the phone means ? How to do it?
