Opening links in whatsapp

When using whatsapp on my macbook, links open in safari. I prefer chrome, but can't figure out how to get links to open in chrome without having to copy and paste them every time.

open links from app in tabs Safari Hi, I'm on macOS Monterey on a MacBook Pro 2021. My issue is the following: when clicking a link in, for example, Mail or Twitter it opens a new Safari window instead of a tab. Furthermore the separate Safari window opens as a half screen instead of full screen, and the lower half of the screen at that. It only does this when Safari is already open. When Safari has been quit it opens links in a tab. As I have almost always an open window of Safari it irritates the hell out of me. Is there a setting/workaround to have external links always open in tabs?

How do I preview a web link in Safari on mac Hello, I'm pretty sure I used to be able to hover over a link to see its URL on other OS's. The closest I have found to this on my Mac is to copy the link, and then paste it to see where its taking me. Is there a setting I can change to preview it without having to do this? Thanks

In System Preferences/General, what is your default browser set to?
