Is open office available on iPad

I have an iPad and want to open word docs without bein bound by Microsoft. Can open office work as an alternative?

most of the developers left the open office project when oracle took over

and started Libreoffice


both have iOS app store versions

Office 700 on the App Store

&

GlobalOffice Suite for LibreOffice xls, doc & odp on the App Store


not sure of office 700 is officially oracle though

YOu can only install what’s available in the app store. THere is an open office reader. I have documents to go. You get pages and numbers and other apple apps free with the activation of a new device. Plus you can use microsoft’s apps free in a limited way


So there are a lot of options out there. I just went to the app store and typed open office, but do some searching and find one that works for you.
