After I deleted and reinstalled the app, it was crashing occasionally, but now it is working fine. I have an iPhone 8. I also restarted my phone a few times once I reinstalled the app.
I did get a general response email back from the Weather Channel support saying-thanks for your submission-we are lisitening though we may not be able to respond-blah blah blah-have heard nothing since.

Perhaps it got corrupted. You can try deleting it and then downloading it:

I have an iPhone 7+ with iOS 11.2.6 update and WAS experiencing the same problem with the Weather Channel app crashing ALL THE TIME. I’ve tried everything including deleting the app and reinstalling it, but nothing worked. I finally went into the app store, pulled up the app and gave it a terrible recommendation. That got their attention and they contacted me to say they fixed the problem. I downloaded the app and it now works fine. Then the weather Channel app people asked me to change my recommendation to make it positive, which I did do because it works now.

I have the same issue with the app. I removed and reinstalled it and it still will not run. No luck with contacting them.
Thanks! I can now get into the app but it still crashes occasionally. I sent a note to the Weather Channel support as well. ☀Maybe it’s crashing because it’s 68 degrees in New England in February and everyone is checking out the forecast! 😊👍-1F3FB;

Weather Channel app crashes before it opens, a regular user daily for years never had a problem until updating my iPhone to 11.2.6. It was the last change I made to my phone before the problem became apparent. So is their a fix or maybe an apple issue??? It was such a great app and so accurate.
