When using my Intel Mac in Windows XP, I want to use the keypad on the right hand side of the keyboard, but since I can't find the Num Lock key on my Mac Keyboard I can't do this.
I have a mac pro, with the itty bitty keyboard and I have tried everything I can think of with the clear key and I am unable to use the numeric keypad. Something this simple should not be so hard.
I Have tried every combonation of the clear and F6 key. But on the Mac Pro the numeric keypad does mot work. I wounder if it rreally would have hurt apple to just place a num lock key on the keyboard.
OSX has "Mouse Keys" in the "Mouse" pane of "Universal Access" System Preferences. There is also an option there to enable and disable "Mouse Keys" by pressing the Option key five times. Does XP have a similar setting? Maybe it remembers the OSX setting. See if "Mouse Keys" is turned on in OSX.
