Delete Key

When I use the delete key on the bluetooth keyboard it forward deletes instead of back delete. This happens on this programs well as Mail. To delete I have to use the delete arrow keys on the number .

iMac (27-inch, Late 2012), OS X Mountain Lion (10.8.2)

Delete key not working It no longer works for me to hold down the Delete key and delete one letter after another. Instead, it makes me press it each time in order to delete a letter. Obviously, I can deal with it by doing it one at a time or highlighting and then hitting delete, but do any of you know of a way to fix this?

You may need to check your Keyboard preference panel's Modifier Keys button on the lower right. Normal forward delete should be Fn -> Delete keys.
