According to the developer, Fallsafety Pro does not offer the functionality that you have asked about.

The Apple Watch instead acts only as a remote control for the app on the paired iPhone:

• Advises that Apple Watch currently offers an Emergency SOS feature, which has different functionality.
• Advises that I am not aware of any third-party app that does currently offer what you are looking for.
• Offers a link to information about an app that you may wish to keep an eye on, as the developer states that they do intend to offer your desired functionality in future.

No - the built-in apps on Apple Watch (not iwatch) do not include fall detection or automatically initiate the sending of alerts either to emergency services or to anyone else.

The Emergency SOS feature, which offers certain alert features subject to connectivity at the time, requires manual activation, as detailed here:

I am also not aware of any third-party apps that currently offer this feature.

Can you point me to the language that explains that? There was one review which made it seem as if the app had a fall sensor.

Information. The watch does have an emergency alert you can use. And there is a fall detection app supposedly coming soon. It’s called fall call. Don’t know when it will be out. Please share any information you get.

There seems to be an app called fallsafety pro. Don’t know anything about it except the description.

I’m sure it’s me. But can you explain how the fall detection works or doesn’t? Does it function on your iPhone only? I’m a bit of a Luddite
