POWERMAC G5 MAX RAM

Hi all,

just wanted to check the max ram for power mac G5. It is this model:

Processor Speed:

2.0 GHz

Processor Type:

PowerPC 970 (G5) x2

Everymac.com says 8; but wanted to check if anymore went higher than that. thanks.

PowerMac, Mac OS X (10.5.3)

Try going to crucial.com and downloading their RAM configuration reporter. It will send back to them all of the pertain information about your Mac and then generate a report for you telling everything that you can do as far as memory goes.
