Wi-Fi does not turn off from control center
Even though we turn off Wi-Fi and bluetooth from control center but still they are active and need to be closed by going to the settings menu.

That is because the operation of wi-fi and Bluetooth is different from Control Center and Settings. See this support document. Use Bluetooth and Wi-Fi in Control Center with iOS 11 - Apple Support
If you wish to turn it off, use Settings. In Control Center, it is temporarily disabled in the last connected device.
