Steinway piano sample in Logic Pro

The Steinway piano sample in Logic Pro seems to have what I can only describe as a “feedback” sound when the sustain pedal is played on some notes. The same track played with the Yamaha or Bosendorfer samples do not have this. Has anyone else had this same thing appear or am I missing something in setting up the sample/control strip.

The Steinway piano sample has extra samples for notes played with sustain pedal pressed. The difference is, that with all dampers raised, playing one note also triggers some resonances at many strings. This phenomenon is called sympathetic resonance. This leads to to a faster decay of higher harmonics and and a more fundamental sound. Depending on the tuning, it sounds like a slight chorus has been added.

The Yamaha and Bosendorfer sample instrument don't have such sample layers, pressing the sustain pedal does trigger the same sample as w/o sustain pedal.
