I dropped my iphone 8plus in the bathtub

I dropped it in the bathtub while giving my daughter a bath, grabbed it out very quickly though. I heard it is water resistant but I'm worried. I lightly dried with a hair dryer and then blew a can of dry air into the holes and pulled out the sim card, and put in a bag of rice for 20 min. Should it be okay?

Taking it out of the water and drying it off was a great start. But using a hair dryer isn't so good since you are blowing into the device, not out of it. and then when you used the can of air, you literally forced any water that may have still been there directly into the electronics, the worse move there could be. Good luck with the device, but I agree with the others, have it checked before the water begins to corrode the electronics.

It seems to be working fine....and doesn't seem wet at all, I did have a case on it

It's theoretically water resistant but not guaranteed to protect against liquid intrusion. If it happens it’s a roll of the dice. However, there is a liquid sensor, and if it got triggered you might have problems getting it serviced other than a complete replacement.
