Macbook Pro 15 (late 2013) extremely slow - VRAM always full
Hi,
I'm having troubles with Macbook Pro 15 Late 2013 2,3 GHz (with NVIDIA GeForce GT 750M) after installing High Sierra upgrade. Mac is running some basic graphic tasks extremely slowly (like editing Wix.com website in Safari or web browsing in general) but e.g. Adobe CC apps are running quite well. At first I thought that it may be caused by a 4K external monitor I'm using but the problem seems to occur when using the internal monitor as well.
iStat shows that the VRAM memory is almost full all the time, even with no apps opened.
I've tried doing the SMC and NVRAM reset and turning on the "reduce motion" function but with no improvements at all, the system is still very laggy.
Is there anyone experiencing the same or anyone with any solution that I might try before reinstalling the system?
Thanks!
MacBook Pro with Retina display, macOS High Sierra (10.13.3)
