Why don't iOS devices have a global equalizer for music?

Apple devices only have preset music equalization for music. It would be much better if you could eq your own music on iPhones and iPads. Spotify and other music vendors provide global equalizers for their music. Why can't Apple do it. Apple's music presets just don't do the job for me. Any ideas?

Those are just presets. Why can't Apple have a 10-band EQ for iOS devices to go along with the presets. That would be much better for people who like to adjust the sound of their music libraries the way they want. Those presets just don't do the job sometimes.
