why is Hide column not hilighted in my spread sheet?

I am working with a spread sheet translated from excel and there are column that i need to hide. That one option is not available.

Hi Howe,

Any merged cells?

With a spare copy of the document, click anywhere in that disobedient table and then click on the "bullseye" top left to select the whole table.

Menu > Table > Unmerge All Cells. Any improvement?
