Apple Watch - Timelapse Watch Face Set to Wrong Timezone

So I have a 1st Gen Apple Watch, and the watch face I use is the Timelapse one of NYC. The problem is that I live in Australia, and the watch face shows Nighttime when it is daytime here, and Daytime on the watch when it is Nighttime here.

Anyone know how to fix this? I've reset my whole Watch and re-synced it to my iPhone, but that didn't help.

I've also got the timezone already set to my current city on my iPhone.

Any ideas?

I also have this problem. I have my timelapse face set to Paris. I actually thought that "Oh, maybe it's showing the day/night like it's using Paris's local time!"... and then I realized that Paris is actually several hours ahead of where I live (not behind) -- d'oh!

I tried restarting my watch (no luck), restarting my phone (no luck), turning Bluetooth off and on again on my phone (nope), checking to make sure location services was enabled (it was), and opening the Maps app like another thread participant suggested (nothing happened).

Looking forward to a fix!
