OS crashes when starting First Aid

When attempting to run Disk Utility - First Aid, OS v10.13.3 crashes, necessitating restart.

I had this as well. Not impressed.

Anyway boot into recovery mode ( hold cmd and R key when starting mac)

Use first aid in the recovery mode and then all is ok

When you reboot machine you'll be able to use first aid as usual
