Whats app not restoring

I have recently faced problems with my Iphone X. Screen acting up on its own . Changing screens and also not responding at times. After a full back up i have switched back to my Iphone 7 and now my whats app is not restoring. In whats app - Chat history i can see the backup of 11GB but it says unable to restore.

Also is anyone else facing this problem with the Iphone x
