problem installing 10.13.3 supplemental
the installation hangs. any help guys?

I understand that you are updating the macOS on your MacBook Pro to 10.13.3, but it is hanging in progress. How are you trying to update? If you are using the Software Update notification, you can try one of the two following standalone update installers:
Download macOS High Sierra 10.13.3 Update
Or
Download macOS High Sierra 10.13.3 Combo Update
One of these should get it done for you.
