I am missing ibooks created from pdfs on my ipad air 2 IOS 11.2.6

I am missing ibook items created from pdfs from my ipad air 2 running IOS 11.2.6. They are also missing from my Iphone 6 IOS 11.2.5. I suspect they could be items where the downloaded titles were changed in order to group topics together. This happened after upgrading to IOS 11.2.6

Copy to iBooks missing I once had a handy little icon allowing me to copy PDF documents to iBooks. In this case I need to copy my user manual to iBooks - but the button seems to be missing now. I suspect the latest iOS update removed that handy feature. I'm untrusting of updates now. =(I'm using the iPad (Air 2) Safari browser to view the PDF and the share icon to (attempt to) move the PDF into iBooks.Maybe there's another way . . .
