Deleting Movies from iTunes library

I typically keep several films on my MacBook for when I go travelling; I leave the rest on an external HD. I have 13 downloaded currently.

Three of them in particular are seemingly stuck in my library; they don't exist anywhere else on my computer, not the iTunes Media folder, not on any volume, nowhere. To further confuse things, I can re-download a properly functioning version from the "Not In My Library" section of the "Purchased" page on the store, it seems almost like iTunes doesn't even know they are in my library.

I figured at first that they've been downloaded onto iCloud, but I can't delete them from my library either - pressing "Delete from Library" does nothing. It's set to show only downloaded files, nothing from iCloud, so I don't know how it could be that anyways.

It's only those three acting up like this, the rest of them (and any others I download) can be deleted in the typical way.

Anyone else having this problem?

If I'm not mistaken newer versions of iTunes Extras are always in the cloud so they can work on Apple TV which has no local storage. I have some older ones however. For example I had a copy of Home Alone downloaded, so I removed the download of the movie, and the download of the extras. Sure enough something odd happened. The movie still showed as stored locally while the extras showed as being in the cloud. When I looked in Finder the extras file was still on the drive. I deleted this, emptied the trash, and restarted iTunes. Now both components show as being in the cloud, and vanish if I view downloaded items.

I had the same problem a few years ago, actually. This time I have only the iCloud-based Extras, so there's nothing really to delete. I'm just confused as to why they're there at all; I'm only displaying downloaded movies. The three I can't delete were downloaded and then "deleted". The files are gone, but the extras are still there.

I exported the library and all three are present in the XML, with only the size, kind, date modified/purchased/added, and location information listed with it. So iTunes still seems to think they're there.
