logd causes /private/var/db/uuidtext/dsc to grow until disk is full

Hello,

I have a strange problem logd writes continuously files into /private/var/db/uuidtext/dsc until the disk is full:

User uploaded file

I have checked all 3rd party extensions, startup items nothing that looks suspicious. Is there a way to decrypt the content of these files? Any ideas how to stop logd from going crazy?

Best,

Alex

Hi Alex,

i am trying to troubleshoot a very similar, if not the same issue myself on a 10.13.3 macbook air, started late night march 22 after the 10.13.3 update was installed. kernel_task does the writing. was there any update or resolution to this issue? I have a ticket opened with apple support, but no reply from their engineering team yet.

did you every resolve this issue?

Thanks,

Trevor
