Blue Yeti USB Mic not working with High Sierra (10.13.3)

My Blue Yeti mic (USB plug-and-play) does not work with High Sierra. Worked on Sierra just fine. Contacted Blue here is what they wrote me:


"Unfortunately when new versions of OS roll out, there's often a slew of bugs that are introduced right from the get-go. These bugs are then purged in successive updates as they isolate and fix them. High Sierra introduced quite a few bugs to Mac OS, including this communication issue with USB peripherals in some cases. In that sense it's more of a fix that needs to happen within High Sierra, as opposed to installing firmware updates on USB devices. Hopefully this is an issue that Apple will resolve quickly (I believe they already released at least one update for High Sierra), because a firmware update for the device would likely introduce even more issues as they resolve those bugs in the OS. I hope this makes sense! So unfortunately the best options to get your Yeti working again would be to downgrade back to Sierra (or take it to a Genius Bar and have them help you with that), or just wait for them to update and patch that bug. Hope this helps!"


So is this an Apple issue really? Will they get rid of the bug so that USB mics will work again?
