iPhone battery replacement - dbrand skin

I would like to know if somebody had their iPhone repaired (or a battery replaced of an iPhone) while having an dbrand skin on it. I concerned that they would remove the dbrand skin which would be kinda annoying. Does somebody know if they have to remove it. E.g. in order to remeplace the battery there is no reason for it.

I asking this because I sent my iPhone 6s already one time and they remove my screen protector - which was also annoying.
