Apple ID doesn t exsist

ipad wont sign into imessage through current ID, it says ID incorrect and displays my old ID

Can you sign out of your old ID?

If not, take the device, the original purchase receipt, and a photo ID to the nearest Apple Store.

or contact Apple ID Support. They will need to see the receipt also.
