What does an i with a red circle mean

What does an i with a red circle mean by each one of my calendars in my list of calendars on my iphone? These is a red "i" with a red circle around it by each of my calendars. What is it and how do I get rid of it? Also, my calendars are not syncing with my outlook.

If you tap the "i", you are given the option to select the color used to display this particular calendar's events.

"i" is short for "information".
