Question: How can I deal with phishing email

I receive an email and I believe it's a

email that's designed to look like it’s from Apple

Also, I didn't order anything from Apple recently

Blocking scamming phishers is not very effective. These thieving scammers rarely if ever use the same sending email address. They use unsuspecting third party addresses or fake addresses to spoof where the email comes from. So you block an address today and tomorrow you get the same phishing email from the same thief using another address.

The best bet is to look at the email address from where this or any phishing emails come from without opening anything attachments in the email. Very simple, if your using your iPhone just tap on the email return address and that will show you were it came from. At least that’s how I do it, and if it’s legit which is 1/2 of 1% of the time it’s a real email.
