Remove Advanced Mac Cleaner

I've removed Advanced Mac Cleaner files from my library, but the icon still appears in my launchpad and the file will start-up again. How do I get rid of this file?

Even though you may have deleted the application, there are probably some files lingering in your library. To fully delete this program there are three options.

1. Contact apple support

2. Use a third party virus removal program

Avast Virus Removal

3. Manually Delete Files

Open finder

On the top bar, click on "Go"

Hold the "Option" button on your keyboard

Click on "Library"

Once in the library there should be some folders associated with Advanced Mac Cleaner

Delete that folder (do not delete all of the folders in your library)

Thank you, I tried option 3, emptied the trash. The icon still appears in my launchpad. I clicked on it and up pops the ad. The file also reappeared in my library. I'll contact apple support.

You may need to reinstall it temporarily and use the developer's program to uninstall it. Learn how at their website.
