Update Apple ID Settings

I have changed nothing, not phone, nor iPad. Today I get a request to Update Apple ID Setting, with “Some account services require you to sign in again”. This requirement is on BOTH my phone and IPad Pro.


i have tried numerous times, on both device, and I get the following message: Verification Failed “An unknown error has occurred“


Now, none of my iCloud data is accessible. Where to go from here?
