imac is typing the letter 'c' randomly as I type! Feb 2018 OS 10.13.4

Sample: The cbrown fox jumpecdc overc the cwhitec docg!

This happecns on Faecbook, Twitterc and con apps on my dcecsktop!

iMac typing 6 randomly Hi every, 2014 i6Mac running with a wired keyboard I keep getting a random 6 appearing in the middle of my typing. At other times things just go crazy and it is like the 6 button is being held down and mac continuously beeps until I press the space button. Also noticed "question mark" is not working. Shift works with other keys and no problems with "/". Have tried resetting the keyboard back to standard but no luck. Any suggestions

Typing gibberish on imac At random times the typing goes crazy with strange symbols over letters. Sometimes it just types periods to end of line, as if I were holding down space bar which is not the case. If I shut down for a while it gets better when I start again, but then the problem will reappear unexpectedly. Using OS 10.13.6 on a four year old desktop. This is going on for a few months. Any idea what this is and how to fix it?

Replace the keyboard.

Try pulling up on the c key gently, or wiggle it. Maybe there's something stuck in the gap. If it keeps on happening get a new keyboard.
