What can I do if the backup from iCloud I ant wont restore becuase its an older iPhone not compatible with the iOS the back up was completed from

My new iPhone 8 randomly shut off on me with very important information and the phone won't turn on at all and it wil be a week before I receive my new phone, I have a old iPhone 5c that in need restored from the iCloud backup from my iPhone 8 but it cant restore it because the iOS isn't compatible. Is there a way around this ?
