You should be able to add or update your payment info in a few ways. One of the most common is via your IPhone by going to settings - name - iTunes and App store- Tap on your Apple ID in blue print- Select View Apple ID- payment info -》 edit or enter here.

- Pymt info can also be checked under settings - name - payment info. However, to be assured it is added appropriately, use the steps that include going through iTunes and App store settings first

On Mac, you can do this in iTunes via signing into your account which is one of the categories in the main iTunes menu at the top of the screen. Add/edit in your account settings.

Finally, go to appleid.apple.com, sign in with your Apple ID and password. Then, go to the payment section - select the Edit button - edit or add your payment info here and click on "save" after

Also, check in iCoud account on Mac: Go to System Preferences- iCloud- sign in if you're not already - click on Account Details - go to the payment tab - edit info here as needed.
