Paste limitation problem

Hi, I have a iPhone 8 Plus and I have noticed when I paste text I will lost it after a few hours and it will feature just a paste button when I click it there will be no text and if I’m in a note pad it will appear as a txt doc with syntax coding. I never use to have this issue I used to be able to store paste in memory for a very long time usually weeks untill I copy something else, I thought I’d ask and see if someone knows about it. If it’s a update problem or corruption?
