iPad shuts off at 50%

Bought this New ipad running iOS11.2.6 WiFi/LTE two days ago. It shuts down at 50% and when you try to turn it back it on it shows the red battery. Once you plug it into the charger it comes on and shows 50% battery life.

You can just return your defective iPad back to the place you purchased it from.

Apple has a 14 day return policy for any of its products.

Get another new iPad. It’s rare to get a sealed product that turns out to be defective.

Ask to fully test the new, replacement iPad in the store, first, before heading all the way home with it, just to confirm it is OK.

Good Luck to You!
