Hello,

Do I have to keep my mac turned on if I want to watch iTunes purchased movies on Apple TV?

Every time I close my mac Apple TV won't show my movies.

TV app I have purchased movies in my app via Apple TV store. Some off them will play, others won't. The don't start up (spinning beach ball) or the open only very briefly. I mean playing on my computer. My computer is a 2015 27-inch iMac (4Ghz 4-core i7, 32 GB ram, 4 GB video ram (Radeon R9 M395x), Monterey 12.6.2, everything is up to date. Any suggestions? Thanks. loading home movies in apple tv app just got new macbook pro 14 inch; for some reason one home movie ( mp4) would not load into apple tv app. Any suggestions? I looked online but none of the suggestions work Thx
