How do I reinstall a deleted IPod Touch 5th gen.?

iPod Touch became disabled. I tried the reset but the Apple logo just sits there with no restore option ever appearing.!So is there a way to restore from the cloud?

No. You will need to connect the iPod to a computer running the latest version of iTunes.

Once connected to the computer with a genuine Apple Lightning cord, you will hold the power button and the home button:

1. the screen will go dark - keep holding the buttons

2. the Apple logo will appear - keep holding the buttons

3. the iTunes logo (with a cord up to it) will appear - now you can let goo of the buttons

You will see a message on the computer screen that says there is something wrong with the iPod.

Select Restore and follow the prompts. THIS WILL ERASE ALL CONTENT AND SETTINGS FROM THE IPOD.

The iPod will be ready to set up when you see Hello on the iPod screen.
