MacBook Keyboard
after turning off my MacBook and turning it back on the keyboard is not responding. Not sure what I can do.

If that doesn't work connect an external keyboard and test. If it works with the external keyboard then there is a hardware problem with your built-in keyboard. Make a Genius Bar Appointment for a free evaluation.
