How do I transfer data to a replacement sim card

How do I transfer data to a replacement SIM card?

i have my phone numbers on a mini SIM card, and want to transfer to a replacement nano SIM card. But the replacement sim is only validated when I invalidate the Old one I.e. only one SIM card works at any one time.
