Blinking black screen on cursor change

* this is a repost from another forum as it gained no answers at all *

Hi,

I tried Adobe forums as this problem occurs mostly in Photoshop but nobody could help me. I wonder if it might by MacOS problem (although it occured in previous versions and started only on the iMac I'm using).

Whenever I use a brush based tool in Photoshop (brush, clone stamp etc) there is 50% change that my screen will flash to black for a split second. Not the program window – whole screen. It is nerve wracking. Although it can happen randomly there is a bigger chance that it will occur while the cursor changes eg. when I move my cursor to some panel and cursor change from brush to an arrow. Disabling full size brush makes the problem go away but I need to keep that option. What I've been told on Adobe forums is to disable GPU acceleration but this does nothing.

This occurs sometimes in web browser (both Safari and Chrome) when website uses custom cursor.

Here are two videos with the problem (it doesn't register on screen recorder hence mobile video).
